The Beauty of the Shadow is a movie which transgressing social and religious borders but it is based on reality. That's love story, but very extraordinary, intense and immoral. That's not moral story. If I can compare to any other cinema I can compare it to ,, Last Tango in Paris ,, or ,, Night Porter ,, , L. Cavani or to ,, Possession ,,. But on the other hand that movie mentally is based a little on surrealistic legacy. The film starts with scene from R. Magritte picture ,, Assassins ,, .
